Pearson MyEnglishLab Writing Course-You Must immediately (once you attend your class associated with the lab) buy the Access Card from the MDC Bookstore and show your registration for proper access.
- Your instructor will help you with your Registration in-class.
You should use your MDC Portal Username/PW to Register at www.MyEnglishLab.com/Register click on the link
After You are Registered then visit: www.MyEnglishLab.com/
go to Settings - under My Courses Join a course and enter the Course ID of your course level stated in your syllabus and registration. Afterwards you may start working with the assignments in your "To Do List" -
If you don't complete your registration properly you need to transfer scores from Pearson platform when joining the course for the first time.
The course ID is unique to the course level and term.
It could happen that your professor has to set up the course again if the code doesn't work. Similar pattern of the set up follows for the class with the textbook access online with PRISM-Cambridge. Keep track of your program link, email (the one you used to register), username, and PW for each site in order to avoid confusion. Your email is linked to your registration for the program. For example: using your personal email to access MyEnglishLab and asking Pearson to send information to MDC.
MDC Username and email is highly recommended along with the PW.
Visit this link for support directly from Pearson’s help desk to solve any issues that you have with MyEnglishLab - go to “start live chat” for instant answers (cut and paste the link on the server of your choice) if available.
